Coalition Warrior Interoperability Demonstration (CWID) UK is the Deputy Chief of the Defence Staff
(Capability)’s annual technology demonstration and field trial
to identify and deliver future military capabilities made possible by Networked
Enabled Capability (NEC). Funded by the Head of Command Control and Information Infrastructure Capability it supports a unique programme between the MoD and industry. It provides a realistic national, joint and coalition environment; working with the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and NATO partners. The event is used to identify capability gap solutions, de-risk Equipment Programme projects,
identify innovative opportunities and inform future research and development projects and initiatives.

The MWBT will now be migrated Thursday 4 Jun 09, between 1130-1330 UK time. All UKITs are to cease using the MWBT on the INTERNET by 1030 today. It will then be available throught the core CWID Network oncompletion of migration.
Due to issues with the US the MWBT will remain on the Internet for use by all UKITs until 2359A 4 Jun 09. It will migrated to the Core CWID System on the 5 Jun and will then available to all UKITs from the 6-11 Jun.
